My Story
My name is Robin Patin, and wealth building is both my profession and my lived experience.

I’m the daughter of a truck driver and a schoolteacher, raised with solid middle-class values: work hard and save what you can. What no one taught me was how money actually works — how to make it grow, recover from mistakes, or plan for the long term when the path isn’t clear.
And I made plenty of mistakes along the way.
Student loans. Early 401(k) withdrawals. Credit card debt. Delayed retirement savings. I learned by living through it myself.

What no one taught me was how money actually works — how to make it grow, recover from mistakes, or plan for the long term when the path isn’t clear.
Those experiences shape how I show up today.
As a financial advisor, I lead with empathy. I know what it feels like to be behind, confused, starting over, or trying to make good decisions without a clear roadmap. Financial progress doesn’t require perfection — it requires clarity and consistency.
I hold the credentials and industry licenses but the letters matter less than the perspective behind them. I’ve worked a wide range of jobs, lived real financial trade-offs, and developed deep respect for what people sacrifice every day to earn and protect their money.
That perspective fuels everything I do as a financial advisor, speaker, and writer.

I was born in New Orleans. When I dream of home, I dream of New Orleans. I started my career in Financial Advising with Edward Jones in 2016.
I earned my first clients from knocking doors. Yes, knocking on their front door. I’m not afraid to speak to people and put myself out there.
I have found my forever career in Wealth Management. My career bliss blends my knowledge of money, skills, and love of helping people grow.
